A long time favourite of popstarz, Republica embody both the adrenaline rock mayhem of the Indie room and the unstoppable party vibe of the popstarz Pop Room. Popstarz returns to the Scala for one night only!
Clubbing legend popstarz teams up with Winter Pride to bring you a spectacular night of DJs, dancing and performance guaranteed to blast away the winter blues.
For twenty years popstarz ruled the roost in gay london entertaining millions of clubbers, known for its great music and friendly crowd popstarz sadly closed it doors a few years ago. So we are very excited to bring it back for one night of mashed up musically madness with FOUR rooms of tunes offering something for everyone.
Room 1: Indie
We Predict A Riot! Popstarz head honcho Tommy Turntables (popstarz/Ghetto) and popstarz regulars, Laurence Del Rey (Douchebag) and El Conchitas (Miss-Shapes/Mint) hold court in the main room serving up Brit-Pop classics and indie mega hits covering everything from Blondie to Blur. So come and 'Shake your meat to beat' just like the good old days.
Room 2: Pop
Hit Me Baby One More Time! The popstarz pop DJs will be digging through their record collection to serve up the best pop guilty pleasures on the planet and there's special sporadic surprise cabaret popping up all over the place! Pumping out the pop tunes are popstarz regulars; (and some of the best DJs in the business) DJ P, Holestar and Lady Lloyd.
Room 3: RnB
Queen of the popstarz Love Lounge DJ P is now one of the most sought after Female DJs in the world - but she has always got time for her popstarz family and is flying in from Dubai especilly for the night. And with special guests; Big John Freeman (Work/Urban World) and Qboy (R&She), two of hottest RnB DJs in the UK we reckon it's gonna get pretty damn Dirrrrty on thier Dancefloor.
Room 4: Girls Room
Mint are taking over the girls room ensuring you have the hottest, fun crowd of lady lovers at Winter Pride - with a stella lineup of fierce female DJs including Yvette Lindquist, Lady Lola and Izzy Trixx who's combined Girl Power is guaranteed to fuel the Glass Bar dancefloor all night long!
All this plus decor, special effects, cabaret and special performances make this an unmissable evening of music and magical winter mayhem!
